Our 3-day desert tour from Errachidia gives you time to slow down in the Sahara. After the Ziz Valley and a sunset camel trek, you spend two nights at Milagro Luxury Camp and a whole day exploring Erg Chebbi by 4×4.
Visit a nomad family, listen to the Gnawa musicians of Khamlia, see the seasonal lake of Dayet Srij and try sandboarding on the highest dunes. Every evening you return to your air-conditioned luxury tent with private bathroom, dinner under the stars and Berber music.

Itinerary

Day 1
Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Rissani – Merzouga
Pick-up at your hotel, the bus station or Errachidia airport. We drive south along the Ziz Valley, stopping at the Meski Blue Spring and the palm-grove viewpoints, then cross Erfoud and Rissani, the old caravan town. In the late afternoon you ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and arrive at Milagro Luxury Camp: mint tea, dinner and Berber music around the fire.

Day 2
A full day in the Merzouga desert
Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at the camp. A 4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi takes you to a nomad family for tea, to Khamlia village and its Gnawa musicians, to the seasonal lake of Dayet Srij and the black desert. Back at the camp, sandboarding on the dunes, free time by the tents and a second night under the stars.

Sunrise in the dunes – Errachidia
Wake up early to watch the sun rise over the Sahara, then enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the camp. We drive back north through Rissani, Erfoud and the Ziz palm groves and drop you at your hotel, the bus station or the airport in Errachidia around midday.

Where does the tour start?
All our tours start in Errachidia: we pick you up at your hotel, at the CTM or Supratours bus station or at Moulay Ali Cherif airport. Tell us your arrival time and we organise the rest.
Is the tour private?
Yes. Every tour is private: only you and your travel companions, with your own driver and vehicle. You can stop for photos whenever you like.
Where do we sleep in the desert?
At Milagro Luxury Camp, our own camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga: luxury tents with air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water, dinner and breakfast included.
How do I book and what is the price?
Send us your dates, the number of travellers and the tour you like on WhatsApp or with the form. We reply with the price and availability. Nothing is booked until we confirm.
Can you change the itinerary?
Of course. We can add nights at the camp, start from another city (Fez, Marrakech, Ouarzazate…) or add activities like quad or buggy. Every tour can be tailor-made.
