Tour overview
This private 2-day tour from Errachidia to Fez combines the Sahara and the imperial cities in a single trip. On the first day you reach Merzouga through the Ziz Valley and ride a camel to Milagro Luxury Camp for sunset, dinner and a night in a luxury tent.
On the second day you watch the sunrise over the dunes and travel north across the Middle Atlas: the Ziz Gorges, Midelt, the cedar forest of Azrou with its Barbary macaques and Ifrane, before arriving in Fez in the evening.

Itinerary

Day 1
Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Rissani – Merzouga
Pick-up at your hotel, the bus station or Errachidia airport. We drive south along the Ziz Valley, stopping at the Meski Blue Spring and the palm-grove viewpoints, then cross Erfoud and Rissani, the old caravan town. In the late afternoon you ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and arrive at Milagro Luxury Camp: mint tea, dinner and Berber music around the fire.

Day 2
Merzouga – Ziz Gorges – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
After sunrise and breakfast we head north through the Ziz Valley and the Ziz Gorges, cross the High Atlas near Midelt and drive through the cedar forest of Azrou, home of the Barbary macaques. A short stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco”, and arrival in Fez in the evening.

Where does the tour start?
All our tours start in Errachidia: we pick you up at your hotel, at the CTM or Supratours bus station or at Moulay Ali Cherif airport. Tell us your arrival time and we organise the rest.
Is the tour private?
Yes. Every tour is private: only you and your travel companions, with your own driver and vehicle. You can stop for photos whenever you like.
Where do we sleep in the desert?
At Milagro Luxury Camp, our own camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga: luxury tents with air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water, dinner and breakfast included.
How do I book and what is the price?
Send us your dates, the number of travellers and the tour you like on WhatsApp or with the form. We reply with the price and availability. Nothing is booked until we confirm.
Can you change the itinerary?
Of course. We can add nights at the camp, start from another city (Fez, Marrakech, Ouarzazate…) or add activities like quad or buggy. Every tour can be tailor-made.
